Wash the beans, cut off the ends. Cut the pods into 2-3 pieces.

Boil the beans in hot water for 10 minutes. Then fold over a sieve.

Peel the garlic and cut into thin slices.

For the marinade, boil hot water and vegetable oil. Add sugar and salt, boil for 1-2 minutes to completely dissolve. Add vinegar at the end.

Place the beans and garlic in a clean, sterilized jar. Pour in the hot marinade. Close the lid. Leave to cool completely, then refrigerate for 12 hours.
