Prepare the ingredients for making apricot ginger jam.
Wash the apricots well.
Cut the apricots in half and remove the pit. Transfer to a basin.
Cover the apricots with sugar.
Let stand to dissolve sugar. It is not necessary to wait for complete dissolution.
